HEATH -- Tyler Ivey struck out nine in a one-hit shutout, leading Rockwall-Heath to a 3-0 win over Longview on Tuesday in District 12-5A action.

Tre Allen collected the only hit for Longview, which fell to 13-8 and 4-4 in district.

Longview's pitching combination of starter Trenton Holloway and reliever Will Bradshaw only gave up three hits, but issued seven walks on the night.

The Lobos are back in action at home Friday against Mesquite Horn.

Bullard Crushes Gladewater, 10-0

BULLARD -- Trevor Rumbelow went 2-for-3 with five RBIs, leading Bullard to 10-0 win over Gladewater in six innings Tuesday night.

Britt Thomas struck out seven in four shutout innings for the win.

The win improved Bullard to 17-5 overall and 7-1 in District 16-3A. Gladewater dropped to 5-13 and 0-8.

Bullard's season resumes Friday at Chapel Hill, while Gladewater plays host to Spring Hill.

Bullard Brook Hill Rolls to DH Sweep

BULLARD -- The Bullard Brook Hill Guard swept a doubleheader from Dallas Lutheran, 23-5 and 16-0, Tuesday.

In the first game, T.J. Dunks went 3-for-4 with three doubles and four RBIs. Clayton Engel had three hits and five RBIs, while Kendall Kerns homered, drove in three and scored twice for Brook Hill.

Daniel Priddy struck out five in two scoreless innings on the mound.

In the nightcap, Engel and Dunks were at it again, combining to go 3-for-5 with seven RBIs. Mike Greening struck out 11 and allowed three hits in his four innings on the mound.

Brook Hill's season continues Friday at home against Dallas First Baptist.

No. 1 Carlisle Rolls Past Beckville

BECKVILLE -- The top-ranked Carlisle Indians' streak of consecutive games without allowing an earned run was snapped, but the Indians still managed a 15-6 win over Beckville on Tuesday night.

Clay Allphin led the offensive charge for Carilisle (17-0, 10-0 in District 20-A) by going 3-for-5 with a home run and six RBIs. Gunner Baker (3-for-4), Caleb Colley (2-for-5) and Kolton Heim (1-for-5) had two RBIs apiece.

Zach Brightwell improved his record 5-0 on the season, allowing six runs (four earned) on eight hits with six strikeouts and two walks. Shadow Sanders pitched three hitless innings of relief, striking ouf five.

Carlisle returns to action Friday at home against Harleton, while Beckville plays host to Overton on Saturday.

MONDAY

Carthage Erupts Late For Non-District Win

NEWTON -- Carthage scored four runs in the top of the 10th inning to defeat Bridge City, 7-3, Monday in non-district action.

JayDon Day led off the 10th with solo home run, and Beaux Guilbeau added a two-run double later in the inning for Carthage, which improved to 19-5 on the season.

Blake Bogenschutz picked up the win on the mound in relief.

Carthage is back in action at home Friday against Jasper.
